I went to L& H Bridal on Old Bustelton Ave (215-676-9206) and had the best expierence trying on about 10 dresses. The dresses were gorgous, and the prices were right,.  970-1500, However my mom was not with me.  I told her i found the dress of my dreams and that we should go back and look at it.  She could not make it to the city that night, she lives in Jersey but asked if i could go there, jersey, to look at dresses.  I figured why not, worst thing that could happen is I could find another dress.  Low and behold we went to The Bridal Manor in Washington Twp, and I found another dress that I loved just as much and decided to purchase it there.  So…L&H was great, a ton of dresses, the owner was a bit rough around the edges, but a real sweetheart, and I felt like a true bride with that attention that they gave to me.

I went to Toast Bridal (Willow Grove ) and had a fantastic experience. First off, Angela was a super sweetheart throughout the process while in the store, trying on dresses.  The dress I purschased was actually a sample which had been discontinued so when I got home and looked online I could not find picutres of the dress anywhere! She emailed me some pictures that they had so that I could look at the dress while I waited for it to be cleaned and ready for pick up! It is definetly worth the trip.

Oh, welcome to weddingbee by the way!

I went to The Sample Rack, I believe it’s on 12th and Pine?  She sells designer sample gowns.  Nothing costs more than $800 dollars.   I found a Maggie Sottero that I fell in love with, 2nd dress I tried on.  I had battled with whether or not I wanted a dress that was not brand new, and decided it was worth a shot if it could cut the price in half or more and if the quality was still there.  I am so glad I did this, we were able to splurge on other things by saving money on the dress.  And again, I LOVE my dress.

I made the trip to Brides and Grooms in Newark, DE. SOOO many dresses, and the ladies there were so helpful! Since I bought a sample, I got a huge discount and free alterations! This was the only store that I went to! Plus…no tax! 🙂
