Am I the only girl with finger hair?! I have been removing it since I got engaged because I now have a ring to show off.
I have a little finger hair, I really didn't pay attention to it until we started taking ring pix! So, every now and then I remove it, if I think about it. lol
Until I read this post I hadn't ever once thought about if I have finger hair. I apparently do not have finger hair and thus- it doesn't bother me. Maybe I played with fire once too often as a child and now it doesn't grow? I don't think my mom or sister have finger hair either now that I think of it...
bleaching/waxing arm hair.. finger hair! what is up with the boards tonight! haha! :)
I do not have finger hair, but I think I would remove it if I did to show off my ring too!

We are some hairy bees up in here! OK - Just kidding lol - nope, no finger hair (at least none that concerns me) just freshly bleached arm hair! Tee hee :)
Mine are so fine that you can barely see them. I never thought of really but I wonder if it will show if I take a close up of my hand. I'll have to shave to be sure, I guess.
@rabbit: finger hair is actually genetic. :) I remember learning about it in biology in 10th grade!
I have finger hair. I have all kinds of hair. ;) I'm actually not all that hairy, but my hair is SUPER dark and my skin is... not as dark, so you can see everything. I pluck the finger hair when it bothers me and I'm bored.
I have finger hair, but it's not too bad. I'll just shave it every few weeks... I don't really know if it's noticeable to anyone but me, but it drives me nuts!
I have finger hair, but it's blonde so it doesn't really show. I've never really thought about it though. 
I don't have finger hair, and actually I'm not very hairy anywhere. Even though my natural haircolor (well, and what color my hair is now! lol) is almost black, all of my body hair is very fine and blonde. Strange.
I'm a natural blonde, so any body hair I do have is pretty fine and almost invisible. I guess that's one plus to being blonde, but the nonexistent eyebrow thing sorta sucks!
For some reason I read that backwards and though of hair in shapes of fingers, I thought dreadlocks lol. Sorry I'm just dumb right now...or always. I do have finger hair but I can't see it, its blonde and tiny. Why don't you veet it off. I hate arm hair I veet my arm hair. I have light and tiny arm hair also I just don't like hair anywhere but my head.
I don't have finger hair, but I can see how it would be a problem! I'm like 50... I naturally have really dark hair, but I have light peach fuzz on my arms & legs.
I love all these responses! I feel slightly better, but I swear I must be the hairiest bee ;) I have light brown hair on my head and then dark brown (almost black) hair on my arms, fingers, eyebrows etc.... Sounds lovely, huh?! I do use hair removal cream for my fingers now. Haven't been as upset about the arm hair.
Oh and if this is genetic than I have some hairy German ancestors to blame! :)
I have a little, but it's so fine and sparse that I don't really notice it. But now I'm paranoid of it showing up in closeup ring pics!
I have a very little bit, but its blonde and you really can't tell. Same thing with my arm hair, most people can't even tell I have any until I get cold and it stands up!
I said other... I have finger hair, it bothers me, but I don't remove it. I tried to shave it off once in high school and was not so happy with the results. It only really bothers me though when I look at a ring shot and notice or something like that. Not enough to wax or anything!
@Myra: I totally read it that way too, and I was picturing something along the lines of Medusa...but with fingers instead of snakes LOL. Glad I'm not the only one!
I have the fine, blonde finger hair LOL. I have to put my hand right up to my face to be able to see it.
I came in and was like wth is finger hair? Hair you run your fingers through? Hair that looks like fingers? LOL.
I never thought about it either but I looked and have just like baby fuzz that you almost can't even see. So i guess I do have a little fuzz ... you just can't see it and I think it's blonde.
I don't, but I do on my toes!!!! And it totally grosses me out to wear sandals unless I take care of it.
I wonder if electrolysis would work? Since it's on your fingers it' not a large area--it may not cost much =].

Mine is very fine and blond. I have it on my toes too and I shave it off in the summer. I never knew it was genetic though! I'll have to ask my sister if she has it too.
My finger hair is super light and peach fuzzy. I shave my toes, though.
I have blonde hair so I had to look REALLY hard to even see if I had any - I do - so I guess it doesn't bother me!

i have a little hair on my fingers, but it has never bothered me. i do shave the hair on my toes though, it's the same color as on my fingers, so i don't know why it bothers me on my toes.
but it is genetic and it is actually a dominant trait, so look at your parents to blame for this one. (probably the one of the only things i remembered from genetics in undergrad)
Just wax it! No biggie - nothing to be embarassed about! I have lighter hair - but I feel bad for the gals with thicker dark hair like my mom. She always complained about it!
I have finger hair..but it's so fine you have to be pretty close to my hand to see it. It's mostly on my ring finger so it will be covered by the rings.
Man, I remember learning about how finger and toe hair was genetic. I'm blonde, but I have very hairy arms, toes and fingers. Mr Spin loooooves to tease me about my hairy knuckles and the only person who got up close ring shots was my twin sis, since she has hairy fingers too. ^_^ The hair was just too noticeable for me to want to let anyone else see.
I shave my toes (halfheartedly--I forget a lot) in the summer and I'm definitely going to shave my fingers before the wedding. Which, typing this out, I am totally making fun of myself for how silly that sounds. ^_^
I am a serious pluck-a-holic. I have limited blonde finger hairs and I pluck them all. Honestly though you have to hold my hands right up to your face to see them when they are there.
Everyone has it since nearly the entire surface of the skin contains hair follicles. For most people, the hair is so fine that no one notices it, which is why many people think they don't have any. If it is a problem, you can get it waxed.

When I first read this I thought you were talking about the hair on your head. I was like, what the heck is finger hair? My hair isn't like fingers?! haha! But yep, I sure do have "finger hair!" I have hair EVERYWHERE! (hence my post about my sideburns!)
i have it and it bugs me even though it's blond. i didn't realize until i sent a ring pic to my mom and she commented. UGH. ever since i've been a bit sensitive about it... lol.
by finger hair do you mean the fuzz between knuckles? because I have that, very, very light, short, not really noticeable.
I do but it's quite fine - you'd have to really be looking for it to notice it. I have visible arm hair though, but it doesn't bother me because the upkeep of shaving is just not something I'm willing to work into my life; I don't see what's shameful about being a woman with some body hair. Shaving my legs is bad enough; I don't want to add to my routine!

I have very fine hair on my knuckles, I agree with other posters who say if it's bothering you, wax or pluck it (don't shave it, the blunt ends might look odd if you have dark hair)...
I was thinking about this the other day! I do have finger hair and it's dark but not toooo dark... so there is no way anyone but me would ever have noticed it, and the only reason I looked was when I started thinking about rings. I has made me worried about close up macro ring shots! My toes are definately more hairy though... you can't tell unless you get quite close but it's a lot darker and longer. I'm too scared too try and remove it though cos I'm worried it'll grow back darker and I won't be able to maintain it.
