I was just looking online today for the best cuticle treatment (mine are extremely dry).  I read on several sites that plain ‘ol petroleum jelly (applied at night) is the best “cure” for dry cuticles and nails.  Not sure if it’ll take the yellowing away but it said it helps nails become stronger so they won’t split.

I’ve heard that gelatin strengthens your nails. Like, drinking, it? I don’t know, you might want to research.

But, to keep your nails from staining, just put on a clear basecoat before painting them! Your manicure should last longer and the saturated color (especially if you do a lot of red or dark purple) won’t stain them.

I’m a nail tech..and we use OPI nail envy strengthener…seems to help!! Also try Vita E caps. poke a hole in them and rub the oil onto your finger nails…they need moisture…it will help harden and keep them from breaking 🙂 goodluck! Moisture is key.
