    I don't think a fingertip veil will suit your dress anyway. : (0 votes)

    I didn’t vote because I’m really not educated enough to know. BUT I will say that I am pear shaped as well as short, and I will be avoiding any type of veil that’s not a birdcage. Every time I put on a veil I feel like I’m a child bride, and I think they look awful on me.

    I think you’re being silly 🙂 (I’m pear-shaped, too!)

    IF anything, I think it would balance out your top and bottom nicely!!

    @LilianHarlow:   I’m a bit pear-shaped and had a veil that was just a bit above finger tip.  It actually was the most flattering of all the veils I tried on.  Sorry, this pic isn’t very close up, but it’s the only one we’ve gotten back so far…

    I wore a floor length veil with this dress. It was perfect for me! Here’s a picture to help you visualize.

    @bokmeowbev: OMG so gorgeous!! Surprised

    I immediately thought cathedral when I saw the dress, but I think fingertip would be fine since the veil is sheer. I’m pear shaped and I never thought about it to be honest, but mine is elbow length.
