They look awesome! Super professional, I'd never know that they were diy-d!
very pretty... love the blue with the black combination - congrats on being so crafty!
They do look great! Maybe this will finally help motivate us to get ours done!
For some reason, one of the pictures won't load, so here they are.

And why I didn't just edit my original post with the pictures is beyond me! Anyway, thanks everyone! I used an inkjet printer, so the quality leaves something to be desired, but I came to grips early on that I'm probably the only one who will even notice.
You did an amazing job! Congratulations ~ I love the style.
Thanks a bunch!
I should also mention that I got the damask pattern from Pixels and Ice Cream.
Oh my goodness...I love them! This is exactly what I want, but I want to use midnight blue instead of teal! Great work!
Very beautiful! You did a great job and I love the color combination.
Very nice!! They have such a custom look no one would ever guess they started out from Target :)
Thank you! Most of our wedding is DIY and I really wanted our invites to reflect that. Also, the "theme" of our wedding is quotations, so I've tried to include quotes in every aspect. I forgot to take a picture of it, but on the back of the RSVP's is yet another quote. I'm sooo excited to get these in the mail tomorrow!
Wow, I know the exact kit from Target that you used, because I looked at it too. But I could have never imagined doing this with it - great job!!! I'd never know that was DIY!
Those look incredible! They look like custom made invites... great job!! :)
Love your colors and the invites are so cute. I'm still debating on DIY invites or not.... worried about printing :(
Oh, a labor of love indeed! Since I couldn't (or rather, didn't want to) learn the different print settings, I ended up taping each printed item to a piece of computer paper and feeding it through that way. That means, each RSVP card had to go through twice for front and back printing. I also printed the quote on the back of the envelopes, but after doing all those, decided it was too much of a pain, so I made return address labels instead.
If you're going to do DIY, make sure you have the time for it. It takes FOREVER, depending on the amount of invitations you need. We needed 98, so it took weeks. I was also fortunate to have access to a printer at work. I'm a nanny, and since both parents work out of the home, they get all their ink for free. I'm sure these invites went through a cartridge or two!
Ooooh pretty pretty pretty! I love all these inspirational photos! I'm about to embark on this journey of invitations myself! Thanks for posting!
So pretty! Your guests are definitely going to be impressed! I'll bet you can't wait to get them sent out :D
Those look amazing!!! I wanted to everything myself, so I never even thought about buying kits and personalizing them but that's awesome.
beautiful!!
OMG.. the turquoise damask is just exquisite!
great job.. as you said.. a love job.
I expect DIY invites.. this kit is marvelous! I saw the damas white & black in michaels.. but your turquoise gives a new step in the design.. and it looks much better than a lot of custom made very expensive invites.
congrats!! excellent taste and great work!
Wow those are gorgeous and they definitely don't look like you made them yourself, they look professionally made.
Thanks everyone! My fiance called me today to say that he finally picked up the necessary stamps, so these bad boys will be off in the mail tomorrow. Hooray!
those are beautiful, what a great set! I love that silver envelope

After being set on a total DIY invitation suite, the paper I wanted was sold out. So having to scrap those plans, I purchased a couple kits from Target ($40 for 50 invites) and came up with a new design. I FINALLY finished all the printing, arranging, and envelope stuffing, so I wanted to share!
