thanks ladies! it was a lot of fun, especially seeing all the people cheering the runners on, though my favorite part was crossing the finish line at the end!

just wanted to come back and give y'all an update on my 5k. it was today in san francisco and it was uncharacteristically HOT this morning; i was almost sweating just walking from my car to the line up area and it was less than a mile away! i was slightly nervous but really excited and i finished the race in 36:10...only 1:10 over my running partner's goal for me. i was so excited and now can't wait to beat that time at my next race. haha, one race in and i'm already addicted
and also, i am so in love with the medal they gave to the finishers. i've been wearing it all day! LOL
