Are the alabaster and pearl pretty close in color...alabaster is a little darker? What're your wedding colors?
What is you skin tone? Most people look better in ivory.
yeah it really depends on your skin tone, you should try on dresses in those 3 colours to see what looks best on you, its different for everyone. I really like the Alabaster though.
I am very white.. pale even. I have medium brown colored hair.
I am worried that going with something like an ivory would make it look too much like the same color pallate on me.
My bridesmaids dresses are a little undecided... but I'm going with "cool" tones and am picking between either a blue or turqouise.

I've decided I don't want Pearl... it is the darkest out of the three.

LOOOOOOVE that dress! Seriously, gorgeous! I kinda like #2, #3.... I like the vintage kinda antique look. All are absolutely stunning but like other bees say, it depends on your skin tone. If they dont have it in all three try on a different one in that color so you can figure it out. BEAUTIFUL!
honestly, I love the pearl color. but I lean a little towards the quirky...classic with a twist type. I also kinda think that the darker color will be better for the lighter skin tone? But i agree with PP's that you should just try on all color variations and find which (and if) one looks better than the others.
I almost always prefer ivory, alabaster, to white.. and this case is no different.
I think you need to look at it against your skin before making a decision though.
White all the way!!! You have to see it in person, it's absolutely gorgeous...

The white does look nice and that's what I was leaning towards but I'm still undecided. The alabaster just seems like you can see more detail in the rouching of the dress. But I still don't know...
Do you have any more pictures of your dress in white that you would be willing to post?
I think stark white is very harsh...and makes the dress look "cheaper". I always prefer warmer shades of white---they do more for the fabric and dresses seem more luxurious.
This is my dress! I love it.
Anyhow, I personally felt the alabaster was a great option because it looked "warmer" to me if that makes sense. Ita more of an ivory than anything. I would have to agree that it will ultimately depend on your skin tone. I tried on the Alabaster so that's what I went with.

Im new to this site - recently found my dream Maggie dress! I am also having a similar problem. The dress I have fallen in love with is from the new collection, it's called Savannah. It's in a similar design, but the skirt is straight with pleating. It came into the store last week and I tried it in Diamond White but it was three sizes too big so I ordered the sample to try in a US size 6. I can't wait I'm due to try it in 2 hrs time!!! The problem is although I haven't seen the actual dress in Alabaster I tried another Maggie dress in this colour and loved it. I agree with the other comments that the fabric looks expensive and fabulous in Alabaster. However, here lies my dilemma,like you I would like a cool blue tone for my bridesmaids and my fiancé is happy with this too as he would like to wear a silver tuxedo with his suit. But two different vendors have both advised me that cool blue/ silver tones will not match an Alabaster dress. So I either go with the Diamond White so that I can stick to my colour scheme, or go with the Alabaster dress and change my scheme entirely! My fiancé does not want to wear any warm tones, and too be honest i am petty set on blue for the bridesmaids. Just thought I'd warn you!! I'll try to post some pics later today as I wouldlike reassurance that the Diamond White suits me, my mum loved it last week but like you I'm worried in case it looks cheap on photographs.
Katbee I totally agree with you... With Alabaster you would need to go with warm tones, whereas white you can do cool tones. My FI wants to wear a white coat for his tuxedo... so I guess I may be stuck with white on this one.
@alli259: Okay, so i know this is a really late post from when you originally asked...I've since had my wedding and have been married for 8 months! But I recently came back to Weddingbee and saw your request for another picture.
Since it's been 8 months, this may no longer help you....but maybe I can help any other Fiorella brides out there? Here is another picture of my dress. I ordered mine in white and the color looked gorgeous outside on the beach as well as inside under the lights. If you're undecided whether you like white, hopefully this helps! XOXO!

And I'm not married yet either so that definitely helps. My FH and I are getting married September 1 2012... so we still have a long way to go... and haven't been dress shopping yet.

Thank you for posting these pics. I'm getting a different style Maggie dress but am also conflicted about color. I like the thought of a white dress but Alabaster seems to photograph better. It really helped to see all three photos together.
