Fireplace Renovation UPDATE

    Hi Ladies,

    As you remember I asked for your input on what to do with the ugly and heavy fireplace at our new house.  Here is the thread:http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/what-to-do-about-this-fireplace

    Well the renovations are finally on their way.

    And here is my inspiration of hopefully what it will look like:

    We're going to use cream tile instead of teal and we'll have a ledge underneath the firebox the top of which will be the same tile and the sides will be white wood to match the mantle.

    Can't wait until it's all done. I think it'll really freshen up the room.  I'll definitely post more pics as it progresses.

    @Meowkers:  I can't wait to see it once you are finished. How much is the update going to cost? I hope you got a good deal, the pic is fabulous!

    @Soladylike:  It's costing $1700 plus the cost of the tile which we have to pick out and purchase on our own.  I think it's a really great deal for the impact it'll have on the room.
