They cost a lot of money. They aren't legal in my state to be set off privately,so that's something you should check into first. Plus...if at a campground and you hire someone to do them,it may be a problem for the facility and they may require you to get insurance.
First off, totally am in your camp! My FI are trying to figure out how we can make this happen. We looked into setting some off ourselves (or by proxy) but the risks were too high (not quite legal to shoot fireworks in our city...) We're talking now to a few professionals, but it's hella pricey.
If it's legal at the campground, I say DO IT. I mean, how epic.

I would really love to have fireworks at my campground reception, but I fear that it might be a little too... over the top. Has anyone done or plans to do a fireworks show? How did it go, and how much does something like that cost? I just think it would be a lot of fun!
