I suspect Hershey's will be better because they are a bigger metro area, and the park is a tourist attraction enough for them to actually put on a show. I hear Wilkes-Barre's is more just your local fare. Too bad you couldn't swing by State College on your way; they really do a lenghty, full show with music on campus and everything. It's impressive.
@Amaryllis: Thank you for your reply! Where is State College? I have to be at the Scranton airport for a 1:30 flight on Tuesday- so we are pretty open to where we watch the fireworks on Monday night! When I looked on Hershey Park's website- I didn't see anything about fireworks for the 4th. Do they typically have them?

State College is like 2 hrs north of Harrisburg but then another 2 hrs west of Wilkes-Barre if you picture a triangle.
Well Harrisburg always has fireworks if you want to catch them before you leave...
I heard on the radio that Hershey Park has firework at 10pm Sunday- tonight (but the rain is coming down now so who knows what tonight will bring)
@HappilyEverAfter54: According to the Hershey Park event site they are tomorrow night at 10, which makes sense since the symphony is playing in front of the med center tomorrow evening as well, and they try to have them in conjunction

(It doesn't list when the symphony is playing though, I think my brother's girlfriend who plays in it said they go at 6 if anyone is interested)

Does anyone know if there are fireworks at Hershey Park for 4th of July? Or how about in the Wilkes Barre/Scranton area? My mom and I are meeting for the weekend of the 4th in Harrisburg PA (and then going to Wilkes Barre) and would like to catch the fireworks some place!
