So I’m super excited for Wednesday, it’s my first appointment (7wk2d) and they will be doing blood work along with an ultrasound and hopefully we will be able to hear a heart beat. My wonderful DH will be with me and I’m really overly excited.
i keep reading to write down your questions before the appointment but I dont know what I should be asking apart from how to help my already horrible nausea, what other questions should I be asking?

The only questions I asked had to do with my specific lifestyle, are there any exercises I should avoid, can I keep drinking protein shakes, and symptoms, what can I take to help me sleep at nightand for allergies. She gave me a huge book of what to expect throughout pregnancy and a sheet of medicines I can take or should avoid. Unleasly there wasn’t much I needed to know and babycenter.com answered most of my questions before I even went in.

Restrictions, food, exercise, how often appointments will be, concerns, etc.

In addition to the above, I also asked what they considered ‘an emergency’, if there are any issues you should keep in mind or start researching now (i.e. genetic testing), what to expect at the next appointment. My doctor doesn’t like it when I think too far ahead of myself (he knows I’m a worrier), so he keeps me in questions appropriate for each trimester. The first is really about understanding the lifestyle changes of being pregnant and knowing what you can and can’t do.
