I’ve been going back and forth as to if I want to have my makeup professionally done. or if I should just do it myself. I don’t wear much makeup on a daily basis, only eyeshadow, liner and mascara.
I decided to splurge on some high end foundation (Lancome Teint Visionnaire), primer Stila All In One), and give it a shot on my own tonight.
Honest feedback appreciated! (sorry these are so big!)
No face makeup, just eyeshadow from the work day:

Very pretty!!! I think the eyelashes need a little something though…. have you tried false lashes?

I think you did an amazing job 🙂 If you want to do it yourself, go for it! You’ll look stunning and save money! I personally decided to go professional but just because of time, I take forever to do a full face haha. Gorgeous, though. Good job 🙂

@Baroness_Meg: you are on the right track but i think you can definitely handle more colour and more eyeliner and mascara. practice, practice, practice.

@hollyberry4: I plan on getting individual lashes and putting 3-4 on outer corner of each eye. All I had at home were strip ones, which I tried, but they were too much. 🙂

I think you could play up your eyes a little more. That look is very “everyday” looking to me. You have pretty eyes, and I think bolder lashes would look great.

@Baroness_Meg: I feel like it’s hard to see because there is no natural lighting so my advice may not be the best.
I feel like you need to bring the shadow up a little more above the crease or out at the corners a bit more and possibly a little bit of liner. I’m not sure what your normal style is but your eyes would be GORGEOUS with some liner and a little flick at the outer corners! You have so much lid space to work with you could definately pull off that look, I know because I have a lot of lid space too. You might also consider contouring with a matte brozner. I agree with PP some lashes would amp it up a bit and don’t forget to fill in your brows, they really are the frame to your face. All the colors you’ve chosen are amazing, you really know how to match your features!

heavier on the eyes so it looks good in photos. You are gorgeous!!

More eyeliner, mascara/falsies, and maybe some more dramatic eyeshadow. The blush is great on you.

Thanks so much everyone for your advice!! I definitely will be buying some false lashes, and I will try to play around with the eye makeup!! I am not very good at liner, one eye is always better than the other, but I guess practice makes perfect! 🙂
@TrustingGod: Aww thank you so much! 🙂

I think the make-up looks good, but it looks like an everyday look. I don’t think you would look out of place at the office for example. I am not sure if you are going for “dramatic” but I think it needs to pop more in pictures.
Just my 2 cents though!

@MrsPanda99: Thank you!! I think I agree that it should be more dramatic… In person, I thought it looked right, because it’smore than I normally wear, but in pictures, it definitely needs a little something extra… YouTube will be my best friend as far as creating the right look! LOL
