Missouri: Tucker Zane, 12:00 am
Talk about a name with a lot of character. That is awesome.
I like Zoey Antoinette from Oregon. It's original without being strange.
my DH would be soooo angry if our baby was born at 12:00am. He is allllll about the tax deduction!!!
Shekinah Rain Shanice?! Really Texas?! come on... I was hoping it would be something really texan...
California: Sophia (super cute)
But, someone in Nevada named their kid Envy? Wha...?
I don't understand how no one has mentioned Nevada! Envy Essence-Faye!
ETA: @Mrs.D-To-Be: Ha. Ok, I see you mentioned Envy.
@mrsjazz: First name aside, the hyphenation in the middle name is baffling.
Where I'm originally from and got married:
Indiana: Michael Joseph Lee , 12:00 am (nice and normal)
Where I live now:
Texas: Shekinah Rain Shanice, 12:00 am (WTF?!?)
Where I am moving in a few weeks:
Georgia: Thatcher James, 12:00 7 seconds (unique yet still normal)
@78h2o: I've never understood why people get mad/upset about this. You still get the tax deduction for 18 years either way.
New Hampshire: Vincent Andrew, 6:01 am
Love it. My dad has been trying to get someone to name their kid Vincent since me and my brother were born.
Massachusetts: twins Grace Kathleen and Luke Christopher... I like those names!
@Mrs.D-To-Be: That gives me an idea! I could totally name my kid gluttony!!!
@o0olibelulao0o: I was too! Darn it. I mean, give me Jackson or Charlotte... not some name I have to focus on to pronounce.
Kansas: Adelyn...not the worst, but I love Massachusetts's names. Grace Kathleen, I'll have to remember that one!
2 states with Aubrey? It's a boy's name, but I suspect those babies are girls.
California: Sophie (cute, but my cats name)
LOL, New Mexico is Daytona ?? who names their kid Daytona??
@brenda.m.fields: I have 3 friends with the name Aubrey, all 3 are girls. I have never heard of it being used for a boys name before, only girls.
@MrsMouse: For some reason, in the 80s, it popped up as a girl's name, probably by similitude to Audrey, but it was originally a male name or French origin. In fact, it's the rapper Drake's first name.
@brenda.m.fields: I didnt know the rappers name was Aubrey LOL, i named my dog after him - Drake :)
@MrsMeNow: looks like Bella Rose's mom is a Twihard!
@brenda.m.fields: I'm going to name my daughter Hermione Granger.
@brenda.m.fields: oh my gosh we are lame, I didn't even think of that:)
These names are either boring or totally wack. Yikes! I once worked in a L&D department and I remember laughing as I realized the child I was holding was named Malikai, and the newborn a co-worker was holding was Jaxxon. Really people?! haha.
Someone already mentioned it but...Shekinah Rain Shanice?!
Lmao, really? That's so incredibly crazy. All parts of it. Not feeling that one hahhaa
Indiana: Michael Joseph Lee
Did anyone check out the names on the 2011 and 2010 lists? There were some pretty interesting names in years past!
California: Sophia. So boring. I know like 7 kids with that name under the age of 5.
I feel bad for little Kalylah from South Dakota. Her parents were trying SO SO hard to be original.
Aww bless, Idaho's first baby has my name - Melissa. I didn't think anyone still named their child that any more.
ETA: West Virginia - Adian. Was this a typo or a new twist on Aidan? Also, how do you pronounce it? Ah-dee-an? Ah-DI-an? Ad-ee-an?
Minnesota isn't on there :(
I'm so surprised so many people hate the name Shekinah! I grew up with a Christian background, so I knew a few people with the name, we nicknamed one girl I know "Shynie" it was cute in my opinion. I think it's a cute name. Though you are right, the full name is a mouthful
Of the list, i love Wesley - it was one of our top names!
Funny some of the pop culture names represented: Khloe (Kardashian??!), Bella (Twilight!) and Daytona (500?),
@Mrs.KMM: Ooh ooh, welcome to GA in a few weeks.
Georgia: Thatcher James.....Not too bad..... I can dig it I guess. I'm not a huge fan of "Thatcher," but I get it.
Some of these are really strange. FI even thought Daytona was a bit much and he is a racing fan.

This is fun! I'm really not big on the non-traditional/trendy/invented names, so some of these names are really weird to me. What's your favorite? Which baby is reppin' your state?
New York: Nicole and Rania
....aaaand I just noticed that Maryland (where the wedding is) is missing from this list. Oh well.
