I don’t think it’s possible for a baby to sleep too much, as long as they’re acting normally when they are awake. Babies brains develop the most while they sleep, so maybe your baby is working on being the next Einstein 🙂

My children never slept- my almost 3 year old still doesn’t. So when they sleep through the night I wake up panicked thinking something is wrong. I think God gave you an easy baby to make up for the first one!

Sounds like my 4 month old. As long as she’s happy, gaining and having enough wet diapers there’s probably nothing to worry about. If you’re concerned ask the pediatrician.

My dd was the same. At the beginning we had to wake her to feed, but once she regained up to her birth weight, I followed her cues. She’s always been on the longer side of time between feedings. She’s 3.5 months and is sleeping 930-530. She isn’t a great daytime sleeper, so instead on combining naps into a solid chunk, she sleeps about 45 minutes every 1-1.5 hours during the day. But when she was that age, she slept all the time.
