Hi all! I know we don't start "showing" until the second trimester, as a rule, especially when it's the first one. But, I am curious when you, in PRIVATE examinations of your profile (come on, we all do it) started to see something. I am at 8 weeks and have been super bloated, but in a recent moment when I was less bloated (TMI redacted here) I could have sworn I saw a little tiny bulge right below my belly button. Could also be food, or my overactive imagination! What about you? When did you see something?

I've never been pregnant but I had a friend who was and was very thin and by 12 weeks her pants didn't fit. She wasn't "showing" per se but she definitely had to go up a pants size in non-stretchy pants.

Yes, you definitely can show early! I've never been pregnant, but my sister-in-law was showing at 7 weeks... she couldn't even fit into her normal clothes and was already wearing maternity pants!

I know a little after 7 weeks, my Mom was able to notice that I was showing. That was right around the time I couldn't zip up my pants anymore. Everyone's body is different so you most certainly can show early.

I am at 8 weeks and my pants are super tight already, and I swear I can see a bump (husband sees it too!). My friend told me there's no way I can be showing because it is too early, and I was kind of mad that she argued with me about it. Who is she to say what my body is or isn't doing?!

My thought on this, for quite a few of us with a pudge (tiny one or bigger) in the belly. I think us women walk around kinda holding in our belly pudge and if you have decent abs noone is the wiser. But for me I noticed holding in your belly while pregnant is very uncomfortable so I had quit trying and Walla! A baby bump showed. But love it and sport it because if you weren't pregnant it wouldn't be there!

I didn't look pregant to others, but by about 8-12 weeks, my pants didn't fit and I felt bigger, and even had a little bump to me

I could see a small bump come and go around 12 weeks but nothing noticeable to others until about 17 weeks. But my pants were tight and uncomfortable prolly around 8 weeks.

So you are probably not showing the baby his or herself just yet, but it is very possible to be bloating enough to see a bulge or bump, or in my case the disappearance on my waist!

The uterus exits the pelvis at 12 weeks, so that would be the earliest that you could actually see "baby".  Still the changes are real, even early on!!!

At 10 weeks I don't have a noticeable bump, but my pants are tighter...but since noone can tell except me I don't really say anything...even DH didn't want to take progression pics at first because he was like "what?...your stomach is still flat..." lol...

My biggest jeans have been tight for  a few weeks and I am bulging out of the rest with a button dropped. Definite bulge/bump/bloat. I have a small frame with a little pooch previously. Now, my students have already noticed. Hello, 8 weeks. Maybe I'm wearing the wrong clothes but my stomach feels all stretched out like never before on a daily basis. I totally feel pregnant when it comes to size/shape but no other symptoms --except more sleepy. People say it's not possible to show but they just have to look at me and see for themselves.

It took almost until 12 weeks for me to show anything in the mirror and a lot longer for it to be visible to other people.  I am 28 weeks now and while obviously pregnant to anyone who knows me, it is still easy for people who don't to not realize I am pregnant!! With a first baby and strong abs it can take some time - even if you are thin.  (I always thought if you were thin it would show super early, but not true!)

I thought that I showed a lot earlier than friends/family/coworkers did...but maybe that's because you can feel the changes more?  I know that at 8-12 weeks I was ready to be in maternity pants...but at almost 8 months, there are still some regular tops that i can wear.  You know, those that are cut high and loose...

I think that it's different for everyone and definitely I showed faster this second time around than the first one...
