Awwww .... what a great tradition! I like the penguins and the "our first Christmas as Mr. and Mrs."
I love the "Our First Christmas as Mr. And Mrs." one!
I especially like that one because we've lived together for four years--so this certainly isn't our first Christmas together, but it's our first married one!
I LOVE the idea of gifting ornaments/tree skirts/stockings to newlyweds and would be thrilled to get a gift like that.

I really like the "Our First Christmas as Mr. and Mrs." one, I think that's my favourite! I like the asymmetrical heart though too.

I love the "First Christmas as Mr. and Mrs. 2009" Really cute!!! I like the other ones too but this one jumped out at me.
Our 1st (dating) Christmas was pengiuns just like that!

I really like the pengiuns (hey, I'm bias ;)) and the sign with the mr and mrs. I like the vintage look of it.
Maybe you should add a poll! I heart me some polls, plus it will make it easier for you to see the opinions without having to scan every.single. one.

@HannahT - Good point that it acknowledges the newlywed part! All the couples I know have been living together for years. This ornament celebrates the actual marriage! Or else I'd have to start doing this with all couples!

I love penguins! I have a penguin ornament of our "family" from last year - me, FI, two dogs and a cat. I also have a just us ornament from our cruise, two little penguins on the beach. If it were up to me, the whole tree would be penguins. They're so stinkin' cute!
i am torn between the lenox and waterford (but i am also a snob because i worked in the china department).
I think the penguin ornament and really cute. The rustic sign is nice, but think about the couple's style... I wouldn't want a rustic sign for my house because it wouldn't go with anything.
Such a great idea! We have cousins who just got married yesterday and this is something we should have given them as a wedding gift, but we might have to stop by their house with something like this before Christmas!

The only bad thing was they don't customize hair color, but it's something you can easily do yourself :)
I like the cystal heart but honestly I am very partial to the little personalized Dough ornaments I get my daughter one every year and get them as christmas presents to family every year and everyone loves them
waterford! classic. and they come out with a new one every year.
I voted for the Lenox (seems like I'm in the minority). I also like the Waterford one. I think these are classic designs that will last forever. :)

They also come in spheres. You could write them a little note or provide them with slips of paper (5 for each year) so they could make it a tradition to write wishes or wishes that have come true for them, and then keep them all in the box and read them each year. It doesn't scream first christmas, but it would start a nice tradition.

I love this. My brother and his wife got an embroidered Christmas Tree Skirt and Stockings for their wedding. So now every wedding that they go to where they know teh couple doesnt have this, they get it. We got them this year, and we LOVE them! Very original and something we wouldnt have thought of until we got it :)
I would LOVE to get one for ours. I haven't thought about it. I hope my guests have!!

ah first christmas together ornaments. I think i bought about 3 our first year together as bf/gf and about 6 last year after our first jop wedding and this year i know i will probably buy a few more since we just had our religious ceremony & actual reception! somebody stop me! but seriously love the penguin ones. too cute!

When we received a first christmas ornament at our wedding I loved it. It was a thoughtful gift and a chance to start a new tradition for our new family. I'd like to extend this gift onto newlyweds...but help me choose. There are so many out there! See the ones I've found so far. My favorite is the penguin couple.
