Our recpetion coordinator is having us do the first dance while cake is served because, as she said “No one really wants to stare at you dance for five minutes.  If they want to, they can.  If not, they can eat cake.”  I HATE being the center of attention, so I am totally down with this plan!

Either! We were announced, walked in, and started our first dance! It was super-short. I think like less than 2 minutes, bc, yes, no one wants to stare at you dance.

Our decision to do that was based on how we didnt want everyone to make a big deal out of it. We didn’t want everyone standing around taking a million awkward pictures, so we deliberately kind of surprised them. 😛

Our DJ had it planned out. We ate, cut the cake, then did the dances before the entire dancing part started.

After dinner is better, i.e start off the dancing portion by the first dance.
