so whats your first dance song going to be? or what was it?
ours is baby i love your way by peter frampton.
If we would be doing one we probably would dance to "Fly Me To The Moon" by Frank Sinatra.
Sunshine, that was my friend's first dance song on Saturday. Maybe it's us AB girls because I totally would have used that song too if she didn't already haha
We have a few choices but keeping our options open for right now, "You and Me" by Lifehouse or something brom Brad Paisley :)

Our wedding processional is to Canon in D Minor - Pachelbel
Our first dance was to "Moondance" by Van Morrison.
We didn't have a choice for our processional song -- the church where we were married requires the same psalm to be sung for all weddings.
I think we're doing the Michael Buble cover of Van Morrison's Crazy Love... and Meghan Tonjes's cover of Can't Help Falling in Love with You for our last dance :)
@Ryansgirl: LOVE that song. At your friends wedding, did it seem like a "long" song to dance to? I think we're going to have the wedding party join in half way thru...

Another "then" couple :) It's fitting for us b/c we were together years ago, then I broke up with him (cringe) but we stayed in touch. And now (obv) are together again!
I'm walking down the aisle to Bless the Broken Road. (a surprise for him.) He's walking into All My Life by KC and JoJo (his choice.) And my maids are walking to Whiter Shade of Pale as a nod to my parents wedding.

We're going with "You and Me" by Dave Matthews Band. I know people tend to feel strongly one way or the other about DMB, but we love them. We've been to 5 or 6 concerts together and wanted to choose one of their songs. :)

Hey Soul Sister by Train. I love the song but can never remember the lyrics to it (actually I can never remember lyrics to any song so I usually just make 'em up). My FI heard me trying to sing it one day and cracked up. He looked up the lyrics and everytime we hear it, he sings it to me.
I'm thinking of doing a choreographed dance to it because I can totally picture a fast waltz with lots of twirls to it.

Ours is "Yer So Bad' by Tom Petty. It was "Strange Magic" by ELO but I convinced the FI to go with Tom Petty, eventhough I love the ELO song.
@JB: I love the ice dance from ES. I think it is a beautiful and lovely first dance song. I really love non-traditional songs. I think it would be very memorable and lovely.

Last song - Don't Let Me Down by the Beatles
It's funny. When the conversation first came up we both knew right away what we would pick.

I think the Ice Song from Edward Scissorhands would be sweet. It's instrumental and slow. Non-traditional yes, but that doen't mean it's not appropriate for a wedding. I say go for it if you both love it!
@ruthie1583 - I'm using Adele's "To Make You Feel My Love" as well! LOOOOVE that song and love Adele! I'm glad someone else has heard of her :)
