Ours will probably be "Home" by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes. It's our song!! On our first date we were talking about music and my FI said he really liked this song..and starts singing it. Then on our second date we walk into a coffee shop and it's playing. We went to their concert about a month after we met!
I'm not to that point yet at all, but I have my preference picked out- La Vie en Rose sung by Edith Piaf. LOVE! That song makes me all dreamy every time I hear it. I love Edith.

I think we're going to use "Love Me Tender" by Elvis. It has extra sentimental value for me, because my parents sang it to each other at their wedding.
I had a mini revelation when I noticed myself CONTINUING to cry everytime I hear "You're all I need to get by" - Marvin Gaye/Tammi Terrell. Actually the version sung by Jacob Lusk from American Idol last season...eeeek. Literally makes me cry joyful tears everytime! It's so uplifting!
I also looooove "sweetest love" by Robin Thicke. Still on the search though. Depends on what my SO wants. But those are my top two right now :)

@ashkat: Thanks, I loooove Otis! "Home" was actually on our list too and even though we decided against it we definitely want to use it somehow. I think we're going to try to have our string quartet play it pre-ceremony and maybe use it for the cake cutting or last song or just make sure it's played during the reception. Have you seen the video of the father and daughter singing it? SO CUTE.

Haven't chosen the song yet but a couple i like are some classics - elvis "i can't help falling in love with you" and the righteous brothers "unchained melody." I also like "the First Day of My Life" by Bright Eyes. I wish we had "a song" but we don't. we like indie and folk music so we were trying to think of a good love song, but haven't really come up with the one yet.
@goldie602: I'm walking down the aisle to a string quartet version of "Unchained Melody" and I'm sooo excited! I've always loved that song and we actually got to dance to it at a wedding last August (the only slow song they played).
We danced to "Better Today" by Koffey Anderson. It was PER-FECT!!!
