I almost feel like I want to keep this song my little secret, because I just discovered it and I love it SO much... but have you heard "Marry Me" from the new Train album? We're having an acoustic guitarist for our ceremony and he's going to play this. It makes me get all teary-eyed every time I hear it!
I have not heard that song yet. I love Train! I have the older albums on my Zune, but I'll check it out! Thanks!!
Anyone have any other suggestions that have a similar feel?
Jim Croce - Time in a Bottle
It is my parents' song - I never understood why until I got older and met the love of my life. :) I really like the guitar in this song, too.
@ Cosmo - I totally forgot about Croce fitting into that category. I love love love Croce. I play all the bluesy rock songs of his on my guitar!

I need some help. I have a pretty musical mind, but I'm stumped trying to come up with more options for our first dance. I really like simple songs with a piano or acoustic guitar in them like Billy Joel, Five for Fighting, Train, Ben Folds, etc. We're big into indie music too.
Right now I've got a short list with The Luckiest - Ben Folds, 100 Years - Five for Fighting, Gravity - Sara Bareilles, I Will Follow You Into the Dark - Death Cab for Cutie.
Can anyone think of some other first dance options that have this kind of feel? I want to give my FI a LOT of options.
