We're having our bridal party enter to "Eye of the Tiger" and we're entering to "The Final Countdown."
"Cosmic Love" is an amazing song but I'm not sure it's really first dance appropriate. :(
Our first dance will be to a song hardly anyone has ever heard - "Hold My Head Above The Water" by Quiet Company - but it's really sweet (and short) and we'll just sway to it. You can listen to it here.

The Bridal Party annoucement song will be T.I (Feat Rihanna) "Live Your Life" It reminds me of all the crazy times I had with my girls. Not sure what song FI and I will be introduced to. We were thinking "I'm Shipping Up To Boston" by The Dropkick Murphy's, but we still want to look into other songs.
I was thinking about doing Cosmic Love for our first dance song- However, when I really listened to the lyrics it didn't seem appropriate for a first song choice. Plus, it has some fast parts so I wasn't sure how that would work. So, I decided to have that song played during our cocktail hour.
Our first dance song will be "Everything" by Lifehouse. The lyrics are really beautiful, and I am really looking forward to dancing with FI to this song.
Our original list of choices for first dance were "Lucky" by Jason Mraz/Colbie Calliat, "You & Me" by Lifehouse, and "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol. We went with the first one.
Bridal Party will enter to "Dreams" by the Cranberries and we'll enter to the Superman Movie Theme.
We are being cheesy and having the chorus loop for "Crazy in Love" for entrance of the wedding party and us.

Hi All, I need some helpful suggestions. FI and I need to sort out our first dance song and I am coming up a bit dry. I would love some suggestions. I am not a huge fan of the over done, typical song choices. I had liked the idea of Florence & The Machine's Cosmic Love, though there are faster parts, so not sure FI is totally on board with that. Anyone have any great song suggestions that are maybe a not too over done, or newer songs?
Likewise, I need help brainstorming our wedding party entrance song. I def want something upbeat and fun, that will end with FI and I coming in and getting our guest out of their seats and dance. I already got nixed on Footloose ( I know overdone, but totally love it, haha). He tossed out 7 Army Nation, but feel its too militant almost maybe... Suggestions here?
