That’s adorable! Such a wonderful way to show your bridesmaids how much you care and how special they are to you on your special day.

Also, burgundy and silver sound like gorgeous colours. Very wine-themed.

About the SIL, I think you could still do a wine glass, but give her some sparking soda or cider. That way she won’t feel left out if everyone breaks out their glasses and wants to toast you or something.

I really like the picture frame idea! When I was 16 I didn’t have a sister (I do now, but she’s really little) so that would have been really special and made me feel like I had a bond with you, so hopefully she’d see it that way too.

Maybe you could just get her a tumbler glass (have a look on eBay, sometimes they sell ‘engraved’ ones for cheap, and you could have one with ‘will you be my bridesmaid’ on it) and put a can of coke in it. That way she can join in the toasting and not feel left out, but there won’t be any ‘encouraging to drink’ going on.

bridetobe24:  That is so cute! I’ll remember that one incase I ever marry someone with sisters.

You should come back to this thread after you’ve given it to her and let us know what she said
