AHHHHHH I’m going to my first dress appointment on the 27th . I’m so nervous but excited. I’m still trying to figure out who to invite. Who did you take to your first appointment? Any tips? O and ideas for what would look good on someone who is 4’10” all the dress models are so dang tall so I have no idea what would look on my short self :/

Just bring anyone who makes you feel comfortable and whose opinion you trust and value. It’s about having fun, taking pics so you can look back when outside of the moment, and taking your time finding a dress that you LOVE. Never feel pressured or rushed. Just relax and enjoy! For a shorter frame, I would recommend an empire or natural waist in a single/solid fabric. Multiple fabrics can break up the dress, thus breaking up your figure, which can look odd on shorter brides. Good luck! 🙂

Well since this is coming up tomorrow, I thought I would give my post a bump 🙂 Any other advice?

No one that makes you feel pressured with forceful opinions. I took a friend that was into fashion as she was unbiased and we treated it like a fun day out. I never took my mum as while I love her to pieces she gets offended if I don’t pick what she likes and would have ridiculed anything I picked.
There’s nothing wrong with shopping alone either. I actually preferred it so I could take my time and shop longer too.
As for tips, try on every silhouette, and try on some of the shop attendant’s choices too as you never know what might look good. Oh dye ah, and take pics for later.
Have fun!! 🙂
