So I tried on my gown last night only to realize i love the front and the back NOT so much….my already flat butt appears WAY flatter to me. I am planning on losing about 10 more lbs in the next few weeks…wedding is in MAy. So – has anyone used bodyshaper with butt pads? the girls are telling me it’s fine. It’s not an option to switch to a new dress now. I have no idea how I didn’t notice that this dress didn’t flatter my backside. I think I fell madly in love with the front of it that i forgot to enhance my flat butt lol !!!

I’ve never tried a padded bottom enhancer but I did order a tummy controlling shapewear piece. Most websites that sell these products have good return policies. If you order one and don’t think it will help you could always send it back. Or try them on at a good department store.
Since you have some time left and plan to lose weight before your wedding add a lot of butt shaping exercises to your routine. They definitely work. If you google “butt shaping exercises” you get a lot of hits. I found this one on that search for example. http://www.shapefit.com/butt-shaping-exercises.html
Also I think most of us put too much emphasis on things we think we see, when in reality no one else really notices because they don’t see what we do. Females are taught to be overcritical and cruel to ourselves. All I see when I look at your pictures is how great your dress looks. : )

I don’t think a flat butt is a problem. Now, I could rival J-lo or Byonce in this category so its never been a worry of mine, but I wouldn’t worry too much.
You can always try padding, but this might look fake. You might find that shapers like spanks will move enough stuff around to change the look a little and this might help.
It looks awesome really. You have great hips and that will give you shape. Personally, I think if you had a bum it would make the corset back sit funny (think wing out like a duck tail or something!).

I empathize. I’ve got the flat butt happening too. I’m hoping my friend who’s designing my dress can work some sort of design magic to make it look less flat the day of, but if not, c’est la vie. I’ve never worn butt pads and I think I would feel a little silly with them.
For what it’s worth, this picture makes it look perfectly fine from the back.

Do stairs, and running up and down hills. The butt pad thing could end up embarrassing (how do they move when you move, etc?
Plus, you still look great. Skip the butt padding.

No one’s going to be looking at your butt, in my opinion. Like you said, you were just so overcome with the front of the dress (gorgeous!) that you didn’t even notice the back! I have a feeling most people will be similarly engrossed with the front of the dress, and not even think about the back…
But, if you are really worried about it, go for the butt enhancement. Like a previous poster, I’m pretty well off in the butt department, but I am wearing a pair of jelly cups for a little boobage boost (you can’t have both butt and boobs lol!), so I don’t think there’s anything wrong or weird with getting a little enhancement when desired!
