@BrideofHugo: You don't look bulky! Its just a tough picture because you have a white dress on in front of other white dresses in the background.
Thank you so much! I am stopping this negative thinking right now. No bulk, just curves :o)
@missvern:Good observation! I was thinking eh a little wide but now I see the white on white is what's making it look that way.
No worries BrideofHugo. You look amazing!!!
Very svelte! You look amazing and happy!

Dress Twins! I am going for my first fitting next Thursday and will post some pics for you. I've thought about adding a corset back, not sure yet though. I feel wide in this too (mine is size 14 and needs to be taken in/let out depending on where it hits my body.) - but it doesn't look wide in pictures. What are you doing as far as a bra? I was going to try the sticky bra from Victorias Secret. But I am open to suggestions! I'm wearing a shaper, and really dislike the boning in the dress. Let me know if you end up changing that at all. Either way - you look beautiful!
Hi!! Mine is a size 14 as well but they had to take it in a little bit, too. I have a DB bra, but I think I might buy their long line one, since the one I have is a little short-waisted, and the long line bra is slightly padded all over and more comfy. I am going to wear spanx, too, but I am not wearing them in the pics above.
I don't mind the boning I think it helps add some structure to the dress. I am a little worried about the corset back, but I think once they make the adjustments it will be perfect!
I can't wait to see your pictures!

Hello Bees,
Just had my first fitting, and will probably have one more to go. The seamstress will open up the corset back so it tightens correctly, and will have it bustled when I go back in 2 weeks.
My one concern is I think I look to wide from the side, so maybe I will get a better lifting longline bra for the dress. Maybe I will wear my hair up in a Victorian-era inspired updo or something...What do you think? I am excited and nervous all at the same time! :o)
Sorry if the pics are too big, I cannot figure out how to resize them!
See what I mean about "wide" in that last pic? I feel like it makes me look bulky from the side...maybe I am crazy :o\
I do love my dress :o)
