Weddingbee boards

So my first fitting went really well today. It doesn't need to be shortened, just taken in around the bust (why am I losing weight from my bust and not my hips for the love of Pete?!?!?!), and the lining around my hips needs to be let out a little. They're also adding a french bustle for me. I'm trying not to think about the cost of the alterations, I'm just hoping they're stitching it with 24 karat gold for the cost! LOL!

My FMIL and Mom came with me. FMIL is apparently the world's WORST photographer, so pardon some of these. At the end you'll see that I just took the camera myself, LOL!

Oh sorry, I forgot to add a photo of the bustle. (Sorry the full length shot with the bustle is REALLY blurry so I'm not even going to bother posting it. Sigh.)

Thanks! The funniest moment was when one of the sales ladies looked at my shoes and said "Oh those are Gucci right?". I nearly burst out laughing and said "No, they're $35 from Target and I've had them for 3 years." They all loved my bolero too, none of them had heard of Etsy! How do you work in the wedding industry and not know about Etsy?!

Thanks ladies! Unfortunately my camera didn't do my dress justice but I'm glad you like it all the same! It felt so good to get in it again!!! I wish I had a photo of the back without it bustled up, it has a gorgeous train. My FMIL's photo skills reared its ugly head though and they were SO blurry I had to delete them!

@DanielleZara: Good luck at your fitting tomorrow! Have fun!!! It was so much faster than I expected, I swear I was done in like 15 minutes. I wanted to wear my dress for longer ;)

@DanielleZara: Oh and bring someone who can actually use a camera... I swear..... Sigh. I'll choose someone with more skills for fitting #2, LOL!

@Miss Old Fashioned: It's just the way she has it pinned to take it in. If it ends up looking like that it's fine, but I think she's taking it at the sides. Damn 30 Day Shred and all it's push ups is making my ladies smaller! AGH!!

@TingTing: Thanks! It was a touch out of my budget but I decided to go for it and I'm so happy I did! Love it!

@OttawaBride2011: I haven't decided when I'm going to wear the bolero. Not for the ceremony though, I know that much. I want more of the classic bridal look for that. I would like to be wearing it in some of our photos, but not all. I think I'll put it on during our cocktail hour and maybe wear it for dinner, but then take it off again for dancing?! Thankfully it folds up teeny tiny so I'll just put it in my purse and take it on and off when I feel like it ;) I'm trying to decide if I should wear it for our first look or not.... And my veil too?!

@malaika: Thanks! I got it in ivory, although I think it also comes in white. It was $2400 (Canadian) which I thought wasn't a bargain basement deal, but it's not at the higher end of dress prices either, so I was comfortable with the price point. It's an older model of dress (2009 I think?!), so I know you can find them online used for at least half price.

@CCSR: I hate hate hate that I'm losing off my bust! I love my ladies!!! Literally there is a gap between my cup and my boob (sorry if TMI). I think FI is going to start force feeding me cake after the wedding to get them back. Not that I would mind eating cake every day...

@WhiteRoseRed: OMG I'M NOT ALONE!!!! Seriously, I think I'm going to go back to Level 1 because I only started noticing the boob loss since I've been doing level 3!!! (I wimped out and skipped level 2 ;) ) I hate it!!!! I need new bras too, I've just been procastinating about it because I'm hugely in denial.... That's awesome that you're Enzoani dress/red shoe bride too!!

@pat291: Oh don't you worry, the dress is all about the boot-ay! I totally didn't think I could rock the mermaid because of it and the hips, but I was pleasantly surprised!!!
