thanks everyone! i was a terrible second guesser...this is actually my second dress. i do love it but it's making me nervous for whatever reason! i just want to make sure it's special enough and formal enough. i think maybe once my hair and makeup are all done, it'll feel totally different. i do love this dress i think i'm just having a bridal meltdown for no reason!

Just wanted to say thanks for the comments! And yes, that's kleinfeld. I was nervous about the fitting appointment there having heard scary stories but it was actually a pleasant experience!
your dress looks beautiful on you. and it's definitely perfect for a black tie, sat night wedding. bc once you have your makeup, jewelry and hair, it will complete the look.

Ok, so I had my first fitting yesterday. I felt great in it when i was there and now I'm feeling a bit nervous and overwhelmed. I want it to be perfect! The lighting was kind of crappy in there so you can't see the sparkle in the top of the dress in these photos, plus these are just cell phone pics anyway. In any case, let me know what you think! Do you think this dress is good for a black tie, Saturday night wedding in NYC? I hope so b/c it's too late if not!
