We’re doing a first look! No superstition or belief in bad luck here, and I think the concept is actually very personal and romantic.

No Look, but more because HE is really superstitious!

I like the idea, because everyone’s pictures are so cute. So maybe he’ll change his mind in the next year.

We did a first look and I’m so glad!  It gave us time to be alone together before the craziness of the wedding day started.

We are doing a first look, and a good three hours elotted for photos before the ceremony.  I’d rather have more time for pictures, so it made sense to do everything beforehand.  This way we can enjoy the cocktail hour after the ceremony with our guests, and also be able to greet each of them instead of doing the obligatory table hopping during the reception.

I’d actually LOVE to do a first look, but FI absolutely doesn’t want to see me until it’s time to walk down the aisle.  Boo, but that’s what he wants!

No first look. My photographer was pushing for it b/c it would make the pictures easier, but we didn’t want to. Not b/c we’re superstitious but I think we wanted to be traditional in this aspect. But i think it’s fine either way 🙂

We aren’t doing a first look, but it’s not due to superstitions. I just always imagined seeing my future husband’s face as I walked down the aisle (about the only part of the wedding I even imagined).

We’re doing a first look and photos before the ceremony so that we can hang withour guests during cocktail hour instead of spending that time getting photos taken.

My mom and my FI are supersticious, so no first look.  I go back and forth on the idea, but decided to agree with them, just in case…

We’re doing a first look and I’m really excited about it! FI didn’t want to have one, but I let him know what the ‘bee had informed me of; that the moment walking down the aisle is still very special. That convinced him!

We did a first look and it was the best decision we made. We originally wanted to have that “moment” during my walk down the aisle, but in the end, our first look was actually a lot more intimate and special. And we were totally relaxed about having time for pictures. We only did 15 mins of family portraits after the ceremony, and then we were all off to cocktail hour. It was awesome. I cannot recommend it enough.

We are definitely doing the First Look.  I want all of those photos finished before the ceremony because I want to enjoy our guests and not worry about the time.
