Well, it wasn’t an RSVP really since we haven’t even sent the invites out but last night we were approached by a long time family friend who won’t be able to attend the wedding because her work schedule only allows them to take a vacation to see his grandmother 2 days before our wedding. While I understand not everybody can come and my wedding is more important to me than everyone else but… this sucks!

Well…be prepared for the regrets. It can be upsetting, but what can you do about it?

I understand it’s sad cause you want everyone there. But not everyone can adjust their schedule for the same day.
We are doing a few wedding activities before the wedding to try and include all the people who may not be able to make it on the wedding day. We get to celebrate with everyone when it’s convenient for them!

I’m sorry to hear that.
My cousin is graduating from college on my wedding day, so of course he, his mom and his dad (my aunt and uncle) are not going to be able to make it to my weddning. I can’t be too upset about that because I know how hard he has worked to get to this point, but there is a possibility of a couple of family members going to the graduation opposed to my wedding. And if that happens, that will hurt my feelings quite a bit.
