Awww, I know how sad those trips can be when your not pregnant so I can imagine this is tougher. I am only just pregnant with my 1st and I am a bit scared.
Although remind yourself It took 9 months and lots of stress and work on your body to produced your gorgeous baby, so 9 weeks out is not that far along.
Some of it, from talking with my freinds, will naturally go back. Some of it you have to work at IE extra lbs and getting muscular definition and some of it may be around to stay like a little loose skin.
Have you been given the OK to work out yet? Getting out for a run or fast walk not only is good for those extra lbs, but is good for your mentality as well. Its as important to feel good and healthy as it is to be healthy.

I am 2 months post partum and I am not quite back to my original size yet. I am almost there thanks to the calories I am burning from breastfeeding, but yes I do have a pooch that is being pretty stubborn. My boobs are huge so none of my bras or shirts fit me. I just went shopping yesterday because I was sick of wearing maternity clothes and yes I was depressed by how tight everything was.
It will be a battle but you will get there. I have been going on walks with the baby up hill almost everyday and I am walking a little further each time. I have to say that grocery shopping with the baby is a freekin workout too. Carrying that infant carseat in and out of the cart and lugging $100 worth of food is a pita. I have also cut out soda and fastfood.
There are workout classes you can do with your baby like group stroller walks or yoga. I think you should look into that to see if there is anything nearby. You will get a good workout and you will meet other moms.

I have a VERY fit friend. She could literally fit into her pre-pregnancy pants at 8 months, and she worked out 5 days a week her ENTIRE pregnancy!
It took her 14 WEEKS to lose the first 5 lbs! It took her 9 MONTHS to get close to pre-baby!
I also have a friend who was a professional cheerleader (She was a Buffalo Bandette!). It took her a little over a year to get back to pre-baby… And her kid was less than 6 pounds! She only gained 20lbs her ENTIRE pregnancy! (She’s 5’0″ and 90lbs wet)
