Anything that you are not comfortable with I would contact your physician.  If for no other reason than to ease your own worry.

They told me that I might have bleeding up to 6 weeks.  I think mine lasted about 3.5.  So it seems you are still in the range of normal.  But like PP said, if you feel uncomfortable, give them a call.

Wait or are you saying like your actual period over a month after giving birth?  As in not the bleeding right after delivery.  If this is the case I would definitely call.

I think you should call your doctor and let them know, no harm no foul on that. They’re going to want to know how many pads you’re saturating in a day, any abdominal cramping, severe weakness or fatigue, if you’ve fainted any, and if you’re breast feeding/bottle feeding.

I don’t think it’s an issue but I also suggest you talk to a doctor.  If anything for the peace of mind.  Everyone’s body is different and all of the chemicals in your body are trying to readjust so things are always difficult to guess at what IS normal.  Go see a doctor, don’t stress.  😀

@kelly105:  I don’t have direct experience about the postpartum time but I do have experience with periods lasting that long.  Mine were because of hormone and thyroid issues.  I think you should see your physician.

I will be 4 weeks pp tomorrow and I am still bleeding on and off.  Like I was bleeding 2 days aao but yesterday dna today, nothing.  I think it’s normal.  Ask your dr though if you feel uncomfortable or have any pain or just need to know if you are OK.
