So DH and I started TTC and I am losing my mind with “possible symptoms”.
However, 2 weird things I have noticed in the last 3-5 days (I am still just slightly too early to test but within the “pregnant range” according to charting).
Yesterday and today someone sprayed perfume on themselves in the office (I know, rude but another story). But while everyone around me could barely smell it, it engulfed me. I am not near that sensitive but oh man it overwhelmed me to the point I felt ill and had to walk outside to breathe, but everyone around me could either barely smell it or not at all.
The other thing, I am crying over stupid commercials like those ASPCA commercials. I have seen them before and yes they make me feel sad but oh god I just balled.
I am not overly tired (felt on Monday like I was geting a bit of the flu, but gone now)…I don’t have sore boobs or slight bleeding (implantation bledding).
Anyways, not looking for you to tell me if I am pregnant but I do was to know what your first symptoms were!

Symptom #1- I had difficulty running at my regular pace
Symptom #2- I felt like I was getting a UTI
Symptom #3- I came down with a cold… in August.

@missjewels: First thing I noticed was cramping that felt like period cramps for many days, a couple weeks before I was supposed to get my period. This continued even after I got a BFP at 12 DPO.
Next thing: I didn’t immediately associate this with pregnancy, but I got dizzy/lightheaded/tired way more easily, especially in the hot sun (I got pregnant in August).

@missjewels: Before I knew I was pregnant, I all of the sudden could not stand the smell of my dog’s treats. I even asked my husband if they had gone bad. I also got very congested (and still am). I didn’t really do the math and then all of the sudden I woke up and was convinced I was pregnant…and I was. I know it is really hard but try to relax until you can test. Hopefully this is your month!! Good luck!

You’ll probably get different answers from everyone, even differences between pregnancies for the same woman.
I had a lot of fatigue, especially when doing my workouts that were normally very easy or lighter than usual. But that was well after I was pregnant (7/8 weeks). I had no noticeable early symptoms, but I also wasn’t looking for them.

@missjewels: I was bloated and my boobs were bigger. I also had some weird twinges, kinda sharp, that only lasted a short time. However, the bloating and the big boobs are/were normal PMS signs for me and the twinges….well, I didn’t read too much into that. What really clued me in was being woken up THREE nights in a row by bad camps that felt JUST like my period was coming. I even grabbed my Diva cup on the way to the bathroom thinking it was my period. All that was there, though, was the TINIEST bit of spotting that I never would have probably noticed otherwise (we were TTC so I was paying very close attention). The cramping would last about 5-10 minutes and then stop. Good luck to you, hopefully it’s a BFP!

I was bloated and had menstrual-like cramps 3-4 days before my period was due.

I felt really sick at about 5 weeks (didn’t know yet!) like a constant nervous/nauseous feeling like I was dreading something. Took a pregnancy test a couple of days later and sure enough, I was pregnant. That lasted until 13 weeks! My baby is 13 years old now though 🙂

I was really, really hungry. Everything else felt just like my period was coming, I even bought more pads to prepare. I didn’t get anything else extreme for another week after finding out.

Sore boobs and AF-like cramps a few days out. I also had a normal sized glass of wine a few days before I knew I was pregnant and felt drunk from it, when normally I wouldn’t have felt anything. I didn’t think much of it at the time.

Sore, full boobs, but, they used to be sore before AF. Lots of CM and I was exhausted!! I felt like I was falling asleep while working out and I was in bed around 7:30p for a solid week.

#2 a bad cold
#3 pinchy pains in abdomen
#4 eating more

Oh and #5 paspirations (heat skipping beats) always had it but this was more often.

@missjewels: I just have to say I actually laughed out loud when I read the ASPCA comment. A few days before I knew I was pregnant I got so worked up during an ASPCA commercial that I actually called and made a donation.
-a lot hungrier than normal

@missjewels: I had serious rage issues before my BFP. Everything anyone did pissed me off to a dangerous level! I also had weird pinching stomach aches all day for a few days before my BFP.
