@goldlt83087:  false positives are extremely rare. You either have the hcg nec to make it positive or you don’t. Some people don’t trust the blue dye tests- maybe get a first response and take it? Looks like you’re pregnant to me tho. I would say congrats, but I can tell you’re a bit conflicted :/

@goldlt83087:  I think it’s positive for sure. I hope everything works out for you- babies can come at the most unexpected times! The pregnancy boards are really great on here for expectant mamas:)

False positives are always possible I suppose, but I think they’re pretty rare. Having dark lines early on is not a bad thing though, it just means your hormone levels are easier to detect. My line was very dark when I took a test 2 weeks ago and I just had my date confirmed via ultrasound today and am 6w2d, so at the time I was only 4 weeks. Take another test when you’re able, but you can also call your gyn/ob to request a blood test to be positive. I’m sure you need time to let it sink in, but hopefully you’ll feel like celebrating soon since ttc wasn’t very far off for you anyway 🙂

Congrats on your (surprise!) BFP! I would be very, very surprised if it were a false positive.

How early is it? (do you know when you ovulated?)

False possitives are REALLY rare, but more common with the blue dye tests (or so I am told). I would either get a digital or a pink dye one. But looks like you are pregnant! Congratulations!

I am not a fan of the blue dye tests, but to be honest that looks way too dark/clear to be an evap line. Sorry for the surprise of it, but I hope it works out to be good news!
