eecuadrado:  Did she give you a tracking number? If not I’d insist on one so you can see for yourself that it is actually sent and on it’s way.

Don’t get too upset just yet, I sent something out that I had sold on ebay once that arrived a WEEK later than I was told it would at the post office. I felt really bad for the person receiving it but there was nothing I could do.

Looking at her shop policies, it states that the average turnaround is: ” Our current turnaround is 4-6 weeks on most orders. Rush orders can be taken for an additional charge.” I see various people have complained about the wait time, but it seems that if you tell her you need it by a specific date she’ll sure try to get it there.

Edit: I misread and I see your wedding is still a long time away. I get that you want to do all this before the baby is born, but if you’re not on a restricted wedding schedule I’d just take a breath and try to zen out. She states she’s a two person team & I can assure that as an ex-Etsy shop owner, stuff like this that has to be hand made takes time. Patience is a virtue! I would have favored orders that had direct date limitations (“My wedding is in 2 weeks!”) over a due date limitation.

eecuadrado:  That’s BS…I always get tracking if for nothing else to at least cover my own ass as a seller. I think she is straight up lying to you…even if her turnaround is 4-6 weeks, if she told you 2 then it shouldn’t take 6!! And if she can’t still be working on them if she said she sent them.

I get that, but her policies clearly state that her turnaround varies by season. This season it’s 4-6 weeks, so she hasn’t done anything wrong yet.

You’d need to file a claim with paypal or your credit card. Etsy doesn’t handle disputes.

Since.. ever? If you write to them they’ll simply turn it over to your method of payment.
