I wanted peonies too, stupid short season. I hate May/June brides that get to have them.

Use fake ones..then you can keep them forever.

I also wanted peonies, but wrong time of the year for me too 🙁

Have you thought about using garden roses or cabbage roses as an alternative? They are both similar in appearance (and probably cheaper too).

@lil_possum:  +1 They’re quite similar and cheaper! I will have some big fluffy roses in my bouquet in January. 🙂

I too wanted peonies, but with a November wedding, well that’s out. Actually almost every single flower I wanted isn’t available! We’re doing mostly cabbage/garden roses (they do look an awful lot like peonies), regular roses, spray roses, hydrangas and blue orchids for our flowers, but I would have loved peonies, tulips, and anemones.

I’m having artificial! £3.50 a stem and my bouquet of cherry blossom and peonies is only £45!

@futuremrste:  date twins! I wanted peonies too and that was a big no-no for me as well :'( I’m going with white hydrangea for my tablescape instead. I looked at the fake silk ones even the real touch ones and I just don’t like fake flowers. The cabbage/garden roses do look very much like them! I’m going to ask my wholesale tomorrow to see if they have some of those, I didn’t even think of those!
