Weddingbee boards

Well I had my first shower yesterday, and to be honest I was really nervous before it began.  I don't know why.  It was mostly older friends of my FMIL, my future sisters in law, and a couple of my in town friends. (My family lives in El Paso, where we will be married).  

To my relief, everything was great, we played games, ate delicious snacks, drank tea and coffee (i had a little pick me up before...tee hee). And I got great gifts!  It was a kitchen shower and everybody brought a recipe with their gift! I can't wait to start trying them out. 

Most exiting gift: the juicer I registered for! AWESOME! 

Also my mom wasn't able to make it, but she sent a gift via UPS and I teared up when I opened it.  She got me two beautiful platters, a long with her delicious banana nut bread recipe. 

Now I am sure it will be a whirlwind up to the big day! :)  Almost at the two month mark!

thanks naangel55! It was great, and I think my nervousness was from excitement, too.  

I've told myself I wouldn't use any of my new gifts, until I clear out all the old stuff! We'll see if I can resist it!
