My fiance and I have been trying for about a year and a half now and nothing.
I have had all the tests done and everything is fine on both our ends but we just can’t get pregnant. I am really trying to not to stress too much about it because I know that won’t help anything but I don’t have anyone in my life who has dealt with this.
My sister gets pregnant at the touch of a finger and no one else in my family has ever had any problems. I don’t have any idea why my body hates me but apparently it does. I trust that God will give me children when the time is right but my fiance and I are so ready.
All I’ve ever dreamt of being is a mother. I never had dreams of being a doctor or an actress or any other ‘dream’ job. I just want to be a mom.
thanks for listening good luck to everyone trying!

Welcome to the TTC board! You will find lots of support here and will meet some other women who have been trying for a long time also. What you said about being a mom reminds me of my own mom. She said all she ever wanted to be was a mom and she was/is a wonderful mom! I am sure you will be a mother as well, but I know that doesn’t make this time easier.

I’m sorry. That is SO frustrating. There are plenty of us here that know how you feel. Hang in there and come and vent/chat whenever you need! 🙂

@Birdee106: There are way too many of us in your same shoes! Check out the 6 months and up thread as well as the infertility thread. Also, a few of us have blogs and there is a great blog community surrouding infertility. Let me know if you’d like more info.

@Birdee106: I just want to say that I’m sorry but happy you’re here at the same time. There are so many of us that had/have issues TTC, and like MissGreenGrass said, there is so much support here.
Have you talked with your doctor about what next steps are?

@2PeasinaPod: Yes, she said the next step would be treatment but we can’t afford it right now. Not sure what else to do now.
@JaneyD: Thanks, I just posted on the 6 months and up thread!

Have you seen an RE to talk about affordable options? If they don’t know what is wrong, I don’t know why you’d have to go straight to the most expensive options.

Sorry, I’m pretty new to all this, what is an RE?
