I tried on dresses at David's Bridal today. It's funny, but styles I thought I would love, I wound up hating! I am not going to say which is my favorite yet because I want honest opinions. It was so nice to be able to try on so many dresses. I was worried because my street size is a 20. Here are the dresses I tried on. What do you think???
I love the second dress and the last dress. They really show off your waist!
I also love the second and the last one. probably the last one is most flattering but the second one is the prettiest :)

#7 (The second to last) is my absolute favorite! It's look BEAUTIFUL on you! I love the lace shoulders! Personally 3 and 5 are my least favorites!
I had a great experience at DB's and got my dress from there! I was the same exact way, the styles I loved online I hated on me.

I like #'s 1, 2 and 8. I think the last one is really flattering, I tried it on, too, and loved it, so maybe I'm biased?! lol... and I like 1 & 2 because they're sweet, and have a little sparkle on them. I think it depends on the look you're going for, you definitely have great options!!

PS, I did the same thing! I had a dress picked out online, and then tried it on and hated it. The one I chose I hadn't even looked at online! I've actually never seen anyone wear the first one I chose, so maybe others had the same experience.
I like 4, 6, and 8. I think 6 is my favorite. The dresses with either a V-neck or sweetheart necklines are the most flattering. I think the ones with the straight-across strapless or sleeves (5, 7) make you look broader across the shoulders. I would also like #2 if it was modified to a sweetheart.
Since you have over a year and this was your first trip, I would recommend looking around a little more. Mori Lee and Allure have plus-size lines that are beautiful and in the same price range.
Two is stunning on you, I also kind of like the tea length but not near as much as the second one.
My favorite on you is #3, then the last dress. The dreses with straps give you a much longer line, and feature your waist. The strapless dresses cut you off and make your shoulders look broader.
The one with the lace bolero is the least flattering.
I think dress #3 with the sweetheart neckline looks the most flattering on you...Good luck!
#2 looks absolutely perfect on you! The silouhette is very flattering and I love the detailing on the gown. So, which do you love?
EDIT: If you choose 2, maybe you could consider changing the neckline to sweetheart to soften it a bit.

I love #1, somewhat #2 and the last one.
However, I think #2 is not as flattering as #1 is due to the straight neckline. The sweetheart neckline is very flattering on you and is prettier/more feminine.
I also really like the last one for is neckline. The shaping on the torso gives you a nicely defined waist and I think the train gives the illusion that your taller than simply a floor length dress such as #1.
Ok so overall I think the last one accentuates your body best and is an elegant and timeless dress!

Number 2 takes little pieces from all the dresses and puts them together in a beautiful way. 2!
8 (the last one) is my absolute favorite! It is beautiful and very flattering.
BTW, you should number them and add a poll. It would make it easier to give our opinion(s) plus many bees might not comment but they would vote.
i like the lace one with the vest thingie!
