I’m just writing to express some happiness. Fiance and I are officially celebrating our engagement this weekend, we’ll be going to Cape Cod for a couple days! I’m so excited! It’s been about 2-3 years since we’ve been on vacay and while it’s not a huge, fancy, entire weeks worth, it’s still better than nothing.
He works until about 11-12 Friday night so my plan is to take a nap after dinner, then pile the exhausted Fiance into the car, drive the 2-3 hours to Cape Cod, and file in overnight. It will save SO much time from waiting to go Saturday. He wouldn’t wake up until around 1 or so, then another 2-3 hours to drive, we’d waste an entire day! I’m not letting that happen.
Any MA bees with suggestions to do in the Cape in March?

What part of the cape are you going to? I lived in Woods Hole/Falmouth for a few years while I was in grad school. It’s so quaint and lovely! I think the beaches on the outer cape (Wellfleet, etc) are gorgeous year round. If it isn’t too cold, some walks out there are definitley called for. There are lots of trails through cool habitats. Cozying up in a pub is also great. If you are in Woods Hole, the Captain Kidd is a local institution, and has charm coming out of its ears. The scientists that live there year round regularly hang out there, too, so you might hear some cool marine biology stuff.

@crayfish: Hyannis is our destination city. I will definitely have to convince the man to do a pub crawl! Cozying up in one sounds delightful lol. As does a nice walk on the beach, even if it is a bit nippy. Thanks!
