My dearest bees!
I’m just wondering what you think will look best – I have already whined and pouted to him that his hair MUST be down for the ceremony & photographs, because I absolutely LOVE his hair (we joke that it is conditional to the marriage). He wants it back all day if he could, but I’m relenting and letting him have it back for the eating and drinking part of the day (but I want it down for the dance!)
And hair up (with our best man!):

I like a ponytail for formal.

I love me some long hair on a guy! Tres sexy!! But keep in mind it may bother him and be in his face for eating, dancing etc. Maybe see if he will agree to leave it down for the ceremony and formal pics, and then pull it back afterwards? I can understand him wanting it out of his face. I am doing a total updo because I cant stand hair in my face, and if there is a breeze outside during the ceremony it will drive me bonkers. Not to mention dancing and eating etc. Congrats, you are getting married 2 weeks after me!

I like either! I say just let him do whats more comfortable for him. Perhaps like PP said….. down for one part,, up for the other!

I like down better but I can see how having it up would be more comfortable for him. I think ceremony down and then he can pick it up for when you two are ready to dance the night away!

l love it up! Whatever is more comfortable for him I suppose!

I think the up looks really nice in weddings! But down does also. I just prefer the up!

I think I might have the same shirt your Fiance is wearing in the second photo. Also, both my Fiance and his groomsmen have long, long hair. One of his groosmen has hair twice as long as mine! They are all wearing ponytails for the reception and pictures, since it just looks a little more formal. For the ceremony itself, I want his hair down.
Normally, I am completely on the sexy long hair flowing in the wind boat! But we did our e-pics with his hair in a ponytail, and it looks surprisingly clean cut and formal and nice in all the pictures. For his groomsmen, I am just afraid they will not wash their hair beforehand, and a ponytail will hide that. 🙁 I agree that they find having their hair up to be more comfortable when they’re eating and such, though.

I prefer up. Namely, so that the photographer can get great photos of his expressions during the days events.

Up – that my vote. you should have a pole.

Good idea bees! Thanks for all the input! I’ll add a poll now!
I was thinking about facial expressions, plus I don’t know about his hair swooping down in front of my face for the first kiss photies! I do love it down so much! We have “I’m stealing and hiding your hair tie” battles rather often, as I haven’t got any hair to tie back really so it’s of no consquence to me if they all go “missing” 😉
Maybe I can have him take it down for some of our couple’s shots, but back whenever else he’d like? Hmm! Adding the poll!
Though as far as a first kiss goes…anyone know that scene from Scrubs where Carla is practicing the different kisses in front of the mirror? We’re totally stuck on that, no idea what kind of kiss to do, hehe! Maybe a poll for another day! 😉

I voted up so you could see his cute face! He can always just put it up for hte ceremony and then put it down later at the reception!
