@VanillaCoke:  My dress shopping journey was not terrible, or long, to say the least. But, after the first one, I came home crying.  WHY?!!  Because I had no clue what I thought he wanted to see me in…silly, right?  But, it was the biggest source of ‘stress’ for me.  His reaction to me, on that day, is the ONE thing I am looking most forward too, so for me – it had to be ‘perfect’ for him…and us.

As I was crying he said something along the lines of I could be wearing a potato sack, and it would make him cry, because no matter what, I will become his wife, and that will make me the MOST beautiful woman/person he has ever seen at that very moment.

So sweet.  And then I burst into tears again because he was right, and I hate it when he is right 🙂  Your FI’s comment made me laugh. I hope you find your dream dress soon!

@VanillaCoke:

Haha, i called mine freaking out one day not sure which one i was going to pick and he goes “I don’t get it. I thought this was supposed to be a fun experience for you….”

Lol, so i said “Hun, that’s not the response i was looking for.”

FI: “Oh, well I mean, you know that i am going to love whatever you pick and you’ll look good no matter what.”

10 minutes later I put back on my original dress, started crying and knew it was the one. 🙂 But just the way he said the first bit was really funny -he could not understand at all why i was freaking out over a dress, especially when i had taken a long weekend to go down to NY with my sister and mom. 😛

@VanillaCoke:  Good luck at vows! I didn’t have an amazing first experience there, but am considering giving it a second go! I too have tried on a metric fkn ton, as and looked at even more online!

@VanillaCoke:  All of the dresses I tried on weren’t listed online. They sell so many gowns I really think it is hard for them to keep up. Also, they have an extra stock thing outside in the back.

I filmed “I Found the Gown” for TLC back in January, and that is why my experience wasn’t that great. Just be really vocal about what you want.

@VanillaCoke:  I was at vows yesterday. I couldn’t find all the dresses I was looking for that I saw online but I did find a lot I liked that I hadn’t seen on the website. Do you know who your appointment is with? Allison is the best and picked a great dress for me. She also said they are going to be filming for the show today. Good luck!

@VanillaCoke:  I got there at 6:30 so my appointment was right after yours. I put a deposit down on the one Allison picked for me. I’m 99% sure it’s my dress but I wanted to think about it a little more before I say yes. I’m a little nervous that my fiancé won’t like it as much as I do. He wanted to see pictures of what I picked but I didn’t want him to see “the dress” so I sent him pictures of me in ones I didn’t pick. The one he seemed to like the most was a big puffy one and I like a mermaid style dress.

@VanillaCoke:  I think you made the right choice, I love sheathy type gowns but the way that fabric drapes down just doesn’t do it for me.
