Sure!  If it means a lot to him, it would be a fun way for him to get involved.  Maybe it could be on your table?

I don’t think it’s a big deal. Either make it the head table or his table of techie friendswho’ll get it. As far as man requests go its not like he asked to have a playoff game on a tv in the middle of your first dance or to have a caged tiger at your ceremony.

Go for it!

Just be grateful he didn’t want to number them in binary, or give each one a “famous irrational” number as its label

I don’t get the reference, but I would have no problem using a “0” as a table number if my fiance requested it. It also wouldn’t bother me as a guest. It’s a symbol just like all the other numbers, I’d be able to figure out where to sit.

We had Super Mario table numbers that didn’t match a single thing in our wedding. It was one of the few requests that DH made so I thought it was only fair to incorporate a little bit of his personality. I agree with the PP’s, just make Table 0 your head table so your guests don’t question it. If they’re not seated there, they probably won’t even notice the number.

I’d say go for it as your table.  Honestly, I wouldn’t ask about it, I’d just figure it was some weird thing like hotels never having a 13th floor and shrug it off.

I think that “different” table numbers are cute. : ) Why not do a table 0?

Ha!  You should hang a little sign across the backs of your chairs that says

01001101 01110010 00101110 00100000 01100001 01101110 01100100 00100000 01001101 01110010 01110011 00101110 (Mr. and Mrs.)

Not many people will see it and he might get a kick out of it if that’s what he’s into. πŸ™‚

Our sweetheart table didn’t have a number on it, but on our escort card I printed “Table 0” for us!  I glued it to the last page of our guestbook after the wedding πŸ™‚
