That is unacceptable! They should act like adults not like kids especially because they were hired to do a job.
Wow. Those guys would not be seeing a cent from me. In fact I'd probably want compensation! LOL
First of all, that bride hired WAY too many videographers/photographers to cover her day. What people have a hard time understanding is that the more is NOT the merrier! It's hard enough for us to stay out of each others way and shots with just one of each, and then you throw one to two more of each into the mix and you are really asking for it.I see at least two more people videotaping (the one taking the video and another) and at least one more photographer).
If you must hire so many people, the best thing you do to help prevent this from happening is to have both vendors get in contact with each other prior to the wedding and make sure they are on the same page. It is a cooperative effort for both of them to get the best possible shots FOR YOU. Also, if you have priorities (e.g. your photography is more important then your videography) it helps if you explain that to the videographer(s) in advance, politely pointing out that they should be the ones to try to keep out of the photogs way or vice versa.
@LBPhotography: Well, I did notice there were a ton of photographers and videographers but I thought that was because there were two brides getting pictures taken. At the beginning of the clip, you see two brides. I may be wrong but either way, this is horrible.
@yrret107: You are absolutely right, didn't notice the second bride! I really hope the one whose vendors they were had backup equipment!
It looks like it's a popular spot for wedding pictures to be taken and a whole bunch of photogs/videographers/bridal parties are there...
CRAZY.
and then he throws the camera?? There goes all the wedding coverage!!
@LBPhotography: Good advice! I never thought of that before I started planning, but I picked my photographer first and he kept asking if I had a videographer and if so, who it was. The videographer asked me the same question and they both said that the other was a good pick and they work together well.
I'm guessing it's all about one stealing the other's shot.
horrible but then we have to consider it happened in Russia, where the emotions are always flying high :-)
Cheers
Frank

Did anyone see this video? A fist fight at a wedding- it was a videographer versus a photographer.
I would be so pissed.
