I totally overdid it at the gym on Wednesday. I did 50 assisted pull ups which is causing me problems 2 days later.
I was sore yesterday but managed to go to a yoga class which I thought helped but today I am SO MUCH WORSE pain/soreness/stiffness
I can’t extend my arms fully or raise them over my head!! How can I get some mobility back asap? I’ve been stretching as much as I can all day and will try another yoga class tonight but right now the thought if it is making me cringe
Now I know it will go away but I am teaching a yoga class tomorrow ( i am an instructor you would THINK i would have known better, ugh!) and I really really would like to be a little closer to normal mobility! This has never happened to me I just don’t know if I should take some advil tomorrow am and power through it or will I be making it so much worse?
Any tips on how to quickly remedy soreness ? I am mostly worried I won’t be able to demo correctly and I’m subbing a class so I don’t know the students/they don’t know me which makes it worse 🙁
EDIT: I have been sore before but never ever ever to this extent and I kinda need it better by tomorrow.
