Evening….well….morning bees!!!! I have a question/need some advice from bees who work nights.
Quick background: I’ve ALWAYS done something that has required me to wake up very, very early and be done with my day around 4-5 pm. So I would just go to the gym, go home, make dinner and that would be my lunch for the next day. I would wake up to make breakfast and/or prepare my snacks for the day if I was too lazy to prepare them the evening before.
Now? I have a very weird weekly schedule and I usually get off of work at 11 pm!!! I eat breakfast, go to school every day in the morning and I only have Mondays and Wednesdays off. I don’t know if I’m having a hard time because working from 6-11 pm is so off for me or what. I usually only work full 8 hour shifts on the weekends, but I feel so out of sorts with this whole thing. I am usually VERY ravenous after my shift, and shamefully admitting that I have succumb to the late night drive through weakness. To make it more dramatic, I’m also one who didn’t eat past 8 pm!! *sigh* I’m having a really hard time with this adjustment and I want to continue to be healthy and not eat late, ESPECIALLY if it means I’m eating drive-thru poison. 🙁
I’m sure the answer is obvious…or maybe it’s not…..but I know someone out there can help me. So for all the bees who work at night or know someone who has/is and is willing to pass down some advice, it would be MUCH appreciated. Thank you!
