So I had a Shellac Manicure done for the first time..
It’s 6 days afterwards, and one – just one – of my fingers peeled completely. Unfortunately, due to the unique blue-purple shade, shimmer and high gloss shine. I can’t match the nail polish.
Any ideas how to “fix” a peeled manicure on my own, when there’s nothing that will match?
Should I just go with a light baby blue – that has similar shimmer, and let it be the odd figure out and claim artistic right?

Honestly, I don’t know how far you are from the nail salon…but I would go in and see if they will fix it for free. Shellac should last up to 2 weeks. It shouldn’t peel after only 6 days. Worth a shot! 🙂

They will usually fix it for free if it peels within the 1st week. Call your salon and see what their policy is. Where it’s just one nail it’ll be quick!

yeah, definitely go back!
for my first shellac i got a french manicure and 3 days later i could see air pockets under all my nails adn then they started popping off. i went back and she re-did the whole thing.
next time i want one im going to a different salon, though! i really didn’t like that woman. and she buffed my nails and left scratches in them that i had to grow out 🙁

well… no luck going back.
They told me because it’s a week as of tomorrow, they will fix the one nails for a fee. Plus that salon is majorly out of my way.
So now i”m left wondering, paint artisticly or see if I can get the rest to peel/remove it.

If you soak them in acetone, they’ll come off. I know that’s not what you want to do, but just in case you give it a try.
