Wow, I haven’t dealt with this at ALL.  Pretty much everyone single potential vendor I’ve contacted have been GREAT at getting back to me.

I also had issues with some vendors not getting back to me in a timely manner or even at all.  It is very frustrating!!  Who runs a business like that, seriously?  If they are MIA from the beginning, what happens the closer you get to your wedding date?

that tends to be the norm especially during summer wedding season – tho they were generally great when i was booking them in winter. could be a seasonality thing? i have to say, my photog and caterer were UBER responsive.

Hmmm, this happened to me AFTER I booked vendors, which I think is much more common and I have seen posts about on weddingbee in the past. But if they’re being unresponsive before the wedding, it might not be the best sign. If you do have your heart set on a vendor for some reason, just make sure you protect yourself by getting a contract and reading all the fine print on the contract.
