I don't have any pics but I have and they look pretty cool! Not very bright (if you were thinking if uplighting or pathway making) but GORGEOUS on tables!!
Dollar Tree has a pack of 4 that are battery powered so no power cords but like firefighter bride said not very bright.
I thought about doing this, but you could hardly see the light at all, and that was up close. I think it would be very faint hanging from the ceiling.
I am going with these lights specifically designed for in lanterns. I wouldn't say these are bright enough to be main lighting, but they are definitely stronger than the tealight and solve the cord problem.

I'll be reselling the 58 (give or take) I have after my wedding if anyone is interested.
I was going to recommend the dollar store also... my sister used these in her centerpieces & they worked out great. Bonus on the low cost.

What about the little battery operated LED lights you can get for under counters or in campers and such? http://www.homehardware.ca/en/rec/index.htm/Plumbing-Electrical/Electrical/Light-Fixtures/Specialty-Lamps/Novelty/LAMP-ADH-LED-PUSH-REACTOR-BL/_/N-2pqfZ67l/Ne-67n/Ntk-All_EN/R-I3697983?Ntt=push+light
Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes etc should carry lots of options for you to see how they would fit and attach.
Or small battery operated camping lanterns maybe like these? They are SUPER bright, and usually have good battery life (and are sellable after!) or good gifts.

Has anyone tried to do this?? Does it work?? I do not like the look of electrical cords hanging from the ceiling, and it would be much easier cleanup to just snip the fishing line at the end of the night. Any thoughts??
