Oh no!!!! I really don’t even know what to say to you, So sad (and as you said on top of the horrific day that this has been)….I’m just gonna send you prayers & positive thougts.

I have never had a Rot, but I’ve know many that friends have had, and I do love them.

I don’t want to give any more of “my opinion”, just that I’m sending prayers and positive thoughts. (((Hugs)))

@SoontobeMrs_GA:  if camo is normally a sweet dog… maybe there is something wrong with him that made him snap.  i’m so sorry for tinkerbell but i would hate for you to lose two dogs in one day.  🙁

I am not trying to be rude or nasty but really if your SO left the two dogs alone together with food then that’s just asking for trouble…as a person who works in an animal shelter I’ve seen two 8 week old puppies from the same litter almost kill each other in a fight over food. I am most emphatic when people who already have a dog want to adopt a rescue dog that they are never to be left with bones or chews treats and are always to be separated for feeding. more than one dog left alone with food is a disaster waiting to happen.

It’s just a little advice for the future, its better to be safe than sorry….every dog has their breaking point. But out of curiosity was their ANY wounds on the pekinese? Or just slobber? Is there a possibility the dog collapsed and wasn’t attacked….the sound of a dog fight and the resulting wounds are usually pretty hard to miss.

@SoontobeMrs_GA:  oh god. I’m so so sorry. I don’t even know what else to say 🙁

@StevieJo:  is what you posted helpful in anyway? This is a horrible thing for her to go through and instead of showing compassion you are attempting to place blame. She needs support- this is a really sad thing- not ‘you should know better.’ Kindness and compassion go a long way.
