Well, you may not even be showing very much at 3 months along! I think Ms. Dumpling was able to fit into the mermaid dress she originally bought when she was about 4-months along without any big alterations.
But what about doing an empire waisted dress, or something with a fitted natural waist and then an a-line style? The dress Guliana Rancic (sp?) wore at the SAG awards this year was very bridal flowy, but also super forgiving in the waist.
cols="50" rows="8" id="post_content">oooh the Grecian Gooddess look :)
Maybe not this exact dress but I like this one. Congrats btw :) I wouldn’t worry too much about how much weight you’ll gain. I gained maybe five lbs by that point.
thnak you! i have a mermaid dress, i got it before i found out and i try it on and it seems there is not much the seemstres could do to make it flattery! at 2 month preg, the baby bump shows on my dress.
i ll keep looking thankss :)
empire waists for big bumps, though at 3ish mos you might not even be showing that much yet.. i would talk to the seamstress to see if they can do anything with alterations.
Check out this one too. It should work with your budget, it’s $229. And it looks like you can get it ASAP.

You will not be showing nearly as much, I would think.
WHatever you do, do not get a corset bra thing. It will definitely be uncomfortable.
I love the pics of this bride in Claire Pettibone's "real brides" blog. She is showing and looks gorgeous. Not sure if you could find something in a similar style.. http://clairepettibone.com/blog/category/real-brides/
@SoontobeMrsA: i will keep in mind about the corset thing. im skinny, but almost 9 weeks and there is a little bump, so i have a month to go. i will be 13 weeks and im afraid i will be showing even more!
thank you so much for your help! im looking at the website right now! thanks
@hgail: thankss for your help! she looks really pretty! i love the dress!
@Naiexoxo: Best of luck but do not limit yourself to maternity styles only. You may be able to find something on the classifieds here.
I just became a member and don't know if my post is coming too late. I recently came across a collection of maternity wedding gowns from Canada. They're really pretty. If you haven't found your dress yet, check them out. I think they ship to the USA.
good luck!
@hgail: I LOVE that Claire Pettibone dress. That bride is so cute!
